In recent years, Tom has developed a specialism in the logistics/industrial sector, acting for both occupiers and developers of distribution and industrial premises nationwide.

Tom has several years of experience in acting on transactional property matters across the healthcare sector – in particular acting for developers and occupiers of medical centres and investors and developers in the retirement living sector.

Tom also acts for retailers, lenders and residential developers.

Tom’s key strengths are his commercial focus and responsiveness and clients enjoy his personable demeanour and pragmatic approach to transactions.

Recent work highlights include:

• Acting for an industry leading national developer on the acquisition of a 16 acre site in Yorkshire, the subsequent development of 310,000 sq ft of new industrial logistics warehousing and the subsequent letting of the built development to a major international retailer.
• Acting for a leading national retail logistics business in connection with their portfolio of industrial premises across the country including the acquisition of a new 170,000 sq ft super-hub.
• Acting for a Leeds based developer on the development and funding of an 86 bed apartment scheme in Leeds and the acquisition of a prominent ex-department store building in Harrogate.

When Tom isn’t in the office he enjoys running – both as a regular at his local Parkrun in Roundhay and taking part in various challenges (often for charity) such as the London Marathon and the Great North Run.
