Lorraine Hammond

Lorraine works in the commercial property team covering a wide range of work, but in the main specialises in secured property finance.

Her specialisms include dealing with large portfolios, sales purchases and re-mortgages, landlord and tenant matters, acting for the lenders, housing associations and SME’s.

She is also CQS qualified and deals with sales, purchases and refinancing of residential properties.

Also, Lorraine enjoys working alongside the corporate team, assisting with property matters in obtaining and collating relevant information for due diligence.

Work highlights include:

• Assisting a high street bank on a £9m refinancing facility of a portfolio of 26 residential and commercial properties.
• Working on a multi-million facility of refinancing of a portfolio of 14 residential and commercial properties to help with the expansion of the borrower’s business.
• Advising Santander UK plc on a £6m lending facility to the Kexgill Group, who provide student accommodation throughout the country.
