Dental team advises practice merger

Bradford-based Leeds Road Dental Practice has acquired its nearby counterpart Harrogate Road Dental Surgery with funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

David McEwan, Corporate Lawyer in the dental team, advised the Leeds Road Dental Practice.

The two surgeries have merged and activity has been transferred to the Leeds Road premises. All staff have been maintained and all patients transferred to the new practice as part of the deal.

In preparation for the merger, renovation work has taken place at Leeds Road Dental Practice. Owners Matt Parrott and John Sinclair have had a new surgery created in the building - bringing the total number to four. They have also refitted two existing surgeries, developed a new reception and waiting area and invested in equipment.

“Schofield Sweeney works closely with its clients to help them achieve their goals and we’re delighted to have been able to provide the team at the Leeds Road Dental Practice with the advice to help grow and renovate their practice. We wish them all the best for the future.” David McEwan, Corporate Lawyer, Schofield Sweeney

Matt Parrott, director of Leeds Road Dental Practice, said:  "John and I are delighted that the acquisition has been a success and we are pleased to be welcoming the patients from Harrogate Road Dental Surgery to our newly renovated home."
