The firm bolsters its tax and finance disputes offering

Nigel Brook joins the Complex Financial and Tax Disputes team

Nigel Brook has joined Schofield Sweeney from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.

Nigel trained at RPC before qualifying into their market leading commercial and tax disputes team.  Based in the City, Nigel worked primarily with large multinationals, UK corporates, and high net worth individuals.  He specialises in complex and high value commercial litigation, contentious tax, and finance disputes.

Asked about his appointment, Nigel commented:

I had a fantastic time at RPC, doing great quality work.  I was hugely impressed by the high standards and breadth of experience which Schofield Sweeney has to offer.  This is a growing team with a deserved reputation for complicated and high stakes litigation.”

“I believe that, in an increasingly connected world, ambitious and commercially-focused firms such as Schofield Sweeney should be able to compete with the biggest City firms for the best work.  Our focus is to deliver the same quality of service, but with an accessible approach and at a very competitive cost.

Alistair Kennedy, Partner, said:

Nigel is a great addition to the team and we are lucky to have him.  His experience working on high-profile, cutting-edge tax and finance matters adds to our already significant team dealing with these and other complex commercial claims.”
