BCS Design employs more than 40 staff in Leeds and London and provides a range of civil, structural, geotechnical engineering and surveying services in markets including rail, highways, industrial and utilities.
The company also has an alliance with a leading design, build, finance, operate (DBFO) organisation to manage and maintain the structures on a 120km stretch of a major UK motorway as part of a 30-year franchise.
BCS Design will join Capita’s 4,200-strong property and infrastructure business. The acquisition will expand Capita’s existing capabilities in its core markets and enable BCS Design to target larger projects and programmes. It will also create opportunities to deliver a wider range of expertise and transformational partnerships with clients.
BCS Design was established in 2003 by Steve Osbaldeston, who was later joined in the business by fellow shareholder and director Martin Cure. Both directors will remain in their roles with the business they built.
