Seasonal HR Nightmares

3rd December 2019

Every year Christmas brings a number of HR issues for employers. Adverse weather can prevent staff getting to work and Christmas parties raise issues surrounding different religions, harassment and Christmas bonuses. This session will help to make sure you are ready for the forthcoming holiday season.

In this session for our North Yorkshire HR Forum, our specialist employment partner John Robinson & associate solicitor Annie Gray from our employment team will offer expert advice and guidance, using practical examples. By the end of this seminar you should be able to understand:

  • How to manage staff absence due to adverse weather
  • How to implement an Adverse Weather policy
  • How to ensure acceptable conduct at the Christmas party
  • How to prepare a statement in advance of the Christmas party
  • The risks associated with harassment during a Christmas party
  • How to deal with employees from other faiths
  • Secret Santa and inappropriate gifts

The cost is FREE and limited to three attendees per organisation.

All attendees will also receive an early Christmas gift of an Adverse Weather Policy for their Handbooks.

So please join us for festive drinks and refreshments in the beautiful surroundings of Goldsborough Hall.
