How to manage a flexible working application
30th June 2020
As the furlough scheme is being tapered down and with the restrictions gradually being eased, employers are faced with difficult decisions regarding restructuring and a finding a new “normal” way of working.
Employers may need to restructure, whether because of the need to reduce cost or because the lockdown has identified new ways of working that mean fewer staff are needed. Employers will also be faced with more requests for flexible working, specifically to work from home more.
Schofield Sweeney’s specialist employment law team have put together this webinar to advise employers on how to deal with such situations.
We will answer the following:
• Who is eligible to make a flexible working request?
• What does a flexible working request have to include?
• On what grounds can I reject a request?
• What are the risks if I do reject a request?
Please note this webinar is not open to freelance HR Consultants or HR agencies. If you are unsure on whether the event is suitable, please contact a member of the team, who will be happy to assist, by phoning 0113 849 4000 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
