Disciplinaries and grievances are a common cause of headaches for HR professionals and business owners. The fact that a large number of unfair dismissal claims succeed because of a technical glitch in the procedure that was followed adds to the common nervousness about handling these matters. 

Join us for our next breakfast seminar, where we will look in detail at the requirements of a fair process, dispel some common myths and provide an insight into how to tackle the most common tricky issues. In particular, we will cover:

  • laying the groundwork for an effective investigation
  • when disciplinaries and grievances collide
  • proportionality and relevance
  • simultaneous criminal investigations
  • sensitive issues: vulnerable employees, sickness absence, confidentiality, anonymous witnesses
  • managing reputational risk
  • concurrent exit discussions

All seminars include breakfast on arrival at 8.30am and finish at 10am.
