Gemma deals with the full range of both contentious and non-contentious issues, including: defending Employment Tribunal claims; providing support in relation to TUPE issues on business sales and restructuring; and drafting and advising on restrictive covenants. Gemma also has specific experience in the education sector, advising on the employment aspects of academy conversions and re-brokerage.
Gemma additionally advises on day to day employment law issues as they arise, including performance management, discipline and grievance procedures, restructuring and discrimination. Gemma also deals with senior executive departures, providing strategic advice to both individuals and companies looking to manage exits, both in the context of corporate transactions and otherwise.
