In celebration of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ on our screens, over the past few weeks we’ve held our annual charity fundraising event ‘The Great Schoey’s Bake Off’.

Our budding bakers have grabbed their aprons, cracked some eggs and turned on the oven (not the air fryer) for our culinary challenges, ‘Bakes from around the world’ and the staple ‘Cake Week’, because everybody loves cake…
The title of Star Baker and winner of the renowned ‘The Great Schoey’s Bake Off’ Personalised Wooden Spoon for each of our offices has been up for grabs.
We’re delighted to share our winners:
~ Bakes from around the world – Lauren Irvine with her creamy Irish ‘Fifteens’, Andrada Frates with her Italian Tiramisu and Keeley Bell with her strawberry shortcake cheesecake.
~ Cake Week – Matthew Broadbent with his chocolate orange cake, Emily Brown with her spooky Halloween brownies and David Ryan (cough, his wife Emily) with her chocolate orange cake.
Also a special mention to Seema Gabbi for spending two evenings cooking curry for everyone in our Huddersfield office for ‘Bakes from around the world’ week.
It hasn’t just been about eating delicious bakes and winning trophy spoons, the event is about raising as much money as we can for our charity of the year, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and we’re delighted to have raised £342!
The high of having cake for breakfast has worn off and we’re are counting down the days till the next Great Schoey’s Bake Off….
