We have a team taking part in the Midnight Memory Walk 2018 in a bid to help raise money for Kirkwood Hospice.
Karen Kennedy, SallyAnn Masih, Diana Walker, Emma Walker, Sara Ahmed, Emma Gledhill, Shazia Aslam, Sarah Ali and two dogs Sonic and Fudge will be taking part in the walk on Saturday 23rd June.
Starting at the University of Huddersfield, our team will walk either the 6 or 10 mile course in memory of a loved one, to get fit or to raise vital funds for our local hospice, they will be surrounded by friends at this truly unique event.
Kirkwood Hospice provides outstanding care for the people of Kirklees. Whether at the Hospice, in the home or out in the community, they make sure that those in their care have the opportunity to live the best quality of life possible and are able to make the most of the time they have left.
“The Kirkwood Hospice Midnight Memory Walk is great event for people to get involved with and to help support one of our charities for the year. This event was a popular choice for our colleagues to get involved with and we are hoping it will really help to break our previous fundraising records.” Said Ann-Marie Keighley, Marketing Manager, Schofield Sweeney.
Diana Walker, Partner, Schofield Sweeney said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Kirkwood Hospice Midnight Memory Walk 2018, to help raise much needed funds for our fantastic local hospice. Everyone in Huddersfield knows of someone who has been helped by the work the Hospice does both for patients and their families. Having done the Midnight Walk on previous occasions, it is a really emotional but also positive event, with young and old alike all walking to raise sponsorship.”
