The final scores are in… £4,000 has been netted for the One in a Million charity and the great work they do in the community.
Alongside other law firms, we took to the pitch this week to partake in their charity’s celebrity 5-a-side football tournament in Bradford.
Our starting line-up: Damian Kilroy, Alex Aitken, Harry Whyte, James Farrell, Jack Firman and Dan Bisby.
Some great football played whilst raising money for the charity’s work amongst Bradford’s children & young people. Congratulations to the winners, OIAM celebrity team, and to 2nd place, Ramsden’s Solicitors and 3rd, Simpson Wood.
“Thank you to all of the organisers at One in a Million for putting on another great event for a great cause. Schofield Sweeney have worked with OIAM for a number of years and really admire the great work they do to help disadvantaged children and young people in Bradford.
Although Schofield Sweeney’s performance on the pitch left little to be desired, this did not detract from a great afternoon – with a fantastic £4,000 raised overall. We are proud to have sponsored this event and look forward to the next tournament in Spring.”
Dan Bisby.
“One In A Million is a charity that works with children and young people, through sports, the arts and enterprise. Using formal and informal education to break cycles of deprivation over their young lives, valuing and celebrating their uniqueness, letting them know they are ‘one in a million.”
