Paramount Retail Group, a family-owned investment firm has acquired Yorkshire’s craft beer producer, Saltaire Brewery.
It is the first acquisition in the drinks sector for the Sheffield-headquartered group who say it will use its expertise and resources to support the Saltaire Brewery brand, who are based near Shipley, West Yorkshire.
Their product range already has regional listings in Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co-op and Marks and Spencers.
Saltaire Brewery’s management team will remain in their positions following the acquisition.
